Penacook Place honors outstanding employees for second quarter of 2010

HAVERHILL, Mass. (July 21, 2010) –– Three dedicated Penacook Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff members have been named Employees of the Month for the second quarter of 2010. Penacook honors employees of the month during a recognition ceremony at the end of each quarter.

The employees of the month are:  Licensed Social Worker Holly Dawes of Amesbury, Licensed Practical Nurse Tania Sullivan of Methuen and Cook/Supervisor Shirley Raymond of Bradford. Employees of the Month are selected by members of Penacook’s management team from a list of nominees. Anyone may nominate an employee, including co-workers, managers, residents and family members.

Dawes, who has been employed at Penacook since February 2009, was nominated by a resident for taking some extra time to help that person move to a new room. She is well-respected for her upbeat demeanor and positive attitude. Sullivan, who has worked at Penacook since August 1997, was nominated for running an organized unit, helping out with staffing whenever needed and being an asset to Penacook Place. Raymond, a 25-year employee, was nominated for stepping up and running the kitchen during her manager’s vacation, and her passion and dedication for keeping the department running smoothly during that time.
